Join us for the Asian Studies Special Lecture “Ableism, Disability, and the Meaning of Life” by Dr Cui Fengming

In this talk, Dr. Cui will introduce the dilemma of disability studies in addressing disability human rights issues when the fundamental meanings of disability and ability are under divided debate. The talk will be held together by the lived experience of persons with disabilities and point to the importance of interdisciplinary study to examine ableism’s influence in human experience with and without disability.
